EFT is a mind-body technique that helps you feel better both emotionally and physically by making changes to the neurological pathways in the part of the mind (subconscious) responsible for emotions.
The technique consists of tapping a pattern of acupressure points, mainly on the face, while focusing on a negative emotion and verbalizing these feelings out loud. All of these things occurring simultaneously (talking, feeling, tapping on the skin, moving your limbs) is what causes the brain to have a new experience while it is revisiting familiar negative emotions. |
EFT addresses the emotional components of physical issues that are often misunderstood and overlooked by traditional medicine.
Pains and chronic physical issues like fibromyalgia, allergies and sensitivities, vertigo, cancers, rheumatoid arthritis, gut issues, and other auto-immune conditions often have emotional aspects. When this emotional energy is removed, the body is freed from the stress response and then can optimally do its natural job of self-healing. It should also be noted that the pain pathways of the brain are closely linked with the emotional pathways. The brain can become confused between actual pain and emotional pain. This is the reason why some people have found pains to rapidly decrease or even disappear after doing EFT. |

As of April, 2022 over 275 studies, review articles and meta-analyses have been published in professional, peer-reviewed, reputable journals of which showed with a high level of scientific evidence that the methods were effective. Studies have also demonstrated that EFT produces real lasting breakthroughs and significantly improves and effectively treats conditions such as depression, anxiety, food cravings, physical pain, trauma and PTSD. |

YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF!
I encourage all my clients to tap regularly. When doing EFT on yourself, whether following a script, or watching a video, you will feel better, but it likely will be an exercise that regulates your nervous system and calms your emotions in the moment. When you work with an expert like Kelly, the tapping that you do will be at a deep level of the mind, and very specific to you, your traumas, and your subconscious limiting beliefs. This is what's necessary to make the permanent changes in the brain, different feelings, attitudes, and behaviours. |
Absolutely! You do not need to be physically present for EFT to work.
Whether in a face to face session or over Zoom, Kelly will show you by demonstrating on herself, the physical points on your body that you will tap on in order to release the blocked emotional energy and limiting beliefs. This type of work does not require the practitioner to be hands on. |
